AI credits power audio transcription, Hub chat, and AI summaries. About 2 credits per minute of audio; a typical Hub exchange is 0.5–2 credits. Credits refresh monthly on the day you subscribed and don't roll over. Run out and AI features pause until the next refresh — the rest of Tagup keeps working. Cloud storage holds the files you attach and the artifacts the Hub saves for you; transcripts don't count against it.
Billing & cancellation
What happens at the end of the 7-day trial?
At the end of the 7 days, you choose: Starter or Pro. Nothing is charged unless you actively pick a plan and enter a payment method. If you do nothing, your account enters read-only mode — you can view and export your data, but you can’t add or edit anything. After 30 days in read-only mode without subscribing, your account and all data are permanently deleted.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel from your account settings — no penalties or fees. You keep full access through the end of your current billing period. After that, your account enters read-only mode for 30 days: you can view and export your data, but not add or edit anything. After 30 days without resubscribing, the account and all data are permanently deleted. We don’t ask why.
Can I switch between Starter and Pro?
Yes. Upgrading is immediate and prorated — you’re charged the rate difference for the rest of your billing cycle, your credit cap rises right away, and any credits already used count against the new, higher limit. Downgrading takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle; no credits or refunds are issued for the price difference in the current cycle. On an annual plan, a downgrade takes effect at your renewal date.
What happens when I run out of credits?
AI features — Hub chat, audio transcription, AI summaries — pause until credits refresh on your monthly reset day. The rest of Tagup keeps working: people, notes, tasks, follow-ups, manual search. To lift the cap sooner, upgrade to Pro at any time.
How does annual billing work?
Pay once per year and save 30%. Starter is $42/year ($3.50/mo effective); Pro is $126/year ($10.50/mo effective). You can cancel at any time — your access continues through the end of your annual period. Annual plans are non-refundable; the 30% discount is the benefit for paying upfront.
Do you offer refunds?
All sales are final — we don’t issue refunds on monthly or annual plans. The annual discount reflects the value of your upfront commitment. If you believe you were charged in error, email support@tagup.pro within 30 days.
Do you offer team or enterprise plans?
